Discord is the main platform we use for raid coordination, chat, trading & more!

If you already have Discord, skip to Step 3

1. Download Discord to your device: https://discordapp.com/download

2. Sign up for a Discord account. (See examples below) We recommend using your Pokemon Go trainer name as your Discord name

3. Visit http://discord.pogocabco.com/ This will open an invite page. Log in to Discord if prompted.

4. Read the #start-here and #rules channels in our Discord server then join in the fun!

<Set up Discord Notifications>

Discord offers settings to fine tune notifications to your preferences

For instructions on how to join the PoGoCabCo server, see section above

1. To access server-specific notification settings, click the drop down menu next to the server name (see pic below)

2. Click the notifications bell icon to access settings (see pic below)

3. We suggest choosing "Only @ mentions" and "Mobile Push Notifications" to only receive important messages (see pic below)

4. If you want to receive notifications for all messages in a certain channel or category, click "Add a Channel or Category" and make your selections (see pic below)

5. Roles are an important way to receive messages for things you are interested in. Please visit #assign-roles-here channel to give yourself roles for things like Raid Hour notifications and/or certain raid bosses. The "Only @mentions" setting allows you to receive messages that tag your assigned roles.

6. If you're still not getting notifications, click your Discord picture on bottom right then choose "Notifications". Click "Get notifications outside of Discord" to adjust notification settings for Discord on your device.

We use Facebook to host events and connect with other players

1. Join our Facebook group to connect to other local players & keep up to date with local events and news.

2. Read the pinned posts to see all our important info.
